COWLISHAW SCHOOL CELEBRATES EARTH DAY ALL WEEK LONG!
Monday, April 23 – IT’S EASY BEING GREEN – GREEN or EARTH SHIRT DAY! Whether you have a shirt with geographical art, a picture or drawing of our Earth, the brightest-green tee, or someone went somewhere and all you got is that lousy t-shirt, show your support of green efforts… on your chest! Wear your love for the Earth on your sleeve, and show your green pride.
Tuesday, April 24 – USE YOUR ENERGY – WALK TO SCHOOL DAY! Conserve fossil fuels and reduce pollution by using good-old-fashioned muscle power to get to school!
Wednesday, April 25 – UNPLUGGED – CRAZY HAIR DAY!
Keep those heat-style tools unplugged today; let your hair get crazy and conserve some energy!
Thursday, April 26 – LESSON THE LAUNDRY LOAD! – PAJAMA DAY! Conserve water! Do less laundry! Wear your PJs to school (teachers & staff, too)!
**PLEASE NOTE: As stated in the District 204 Parent-Student Handbook, clothing must cover the torso. Underwear must be covered also. Neither thin-strapped pajamas nor slippers are allowed in school. Shoes must be worn with pajamas. Students that do not abide by these rules will be sent to the office to change their clothes.
Friday, April 27 – SHOW YOUR GREEN PRIDE! – SPIRIT WEAR DAY! Keep the Green spirit going… all year long. Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle!
