The Halloween party is Friday, October 26. We have a lot of exciting things planned including bounce houses, games, crafts, photo drop, bake walk, and food for purchase. Please check backpack mail early this week for the flyer to get your tickets and candy donations. The flyers are also attached. We had our fall school assembly last Wednesday, October 10. Thanks so much to Sabrina Hunt for organizing! The assembly was great and the kids really seemed to enjoy it!

Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school! If each kid brought 10 box tops we could earn $700 for the school! Look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. Some of the popular brands include Ziploc, Annie’s, Lysol, Reynolds, General Mills, Scott, and so many more!

Submit Box Top Certificates and Box Top codes to earn more. All you have to do is clip them and send them to school. You can also download the Box Tops App.

Please remember to mark the envelope or plastic bags with your child’s classroom. October 26th is last day to submit for the classroom contest— the classroom with the most clipped box tops will receive a prize!

Enter the sweepstakes at to win even more. For any questions please contact Charitra at

Our school will be collecting new or gently worn, clean winter items (boots, hats, coats, scarves, snow pants, etc.) of all sizes until —October 26th. Please make sure zippers are in good working condition. Items can be dropped off in the collection boxes labeled “Coat Drive” inside the front entrance of the school. The winter items will be distributed to families in need within our district in early November.

We still have some open chair positions for the 2018-2019 school year listed below:
