CULVER’S WINNERS!

Thank you to everyone who came out last week for our first Dinner Night Out at Culver’s! Ms. Brown’s 1st grade class had the most dining room sign-ins at dinner time, so everyone in that class will be receiving free custard coupons! Congrats!

Please stay tuned for more information to come about October’s Dinner Night Out. Thank you in advance for supporting our PTA!

REFLECTIONS

Reflections is the National PTA arts program and competition that asks children to get creative! Students are invited to create works of art in any of six different arts categories, reflecting upon this year’s theme, “Heroes Around Me.”

The six arts categories are dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. All participants will be celebrated, and all entries will be then be judged and have the chance to move to district, regional, state, and national level of competition.

More info and an entry form will be coming home via backpack mail this week. To view rules (there are many!) and packaging instructions, please visit https://sites.google.com/site/cowlishawelementarypta/events/reflections

Entries MUST be submitted to the bin outside of the office- with a separate entry form attached to each project- by October 29th. Extra entry forms are available in the office or can be downloaded using the link above.

Contact Kristin Wolfgram at kristinwolfgram@gmail.com with questions.

BOX TOPS

Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school! If each kid brought 10 box tops we could earn $700 for the school! Look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. Some of the popular brands include Ziploc, Annie’s, Lysol, Reynolds, General Mills, Scott, and so many more! See all the products in the attached list!

Submit Box Top Certificates and Box Top codes to earn more. All you have to do is clip them and send them to school. You can also download the Box Tops App.

Please remember to mark the envelope or plastic bags with your child’s classroom. October 20th is last day to submit for the classroom contest— the classroom with the most clipped box tops will receive a prize!

Enter the sweepstakes at http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/sweepstakes to win even more. For any questions please contact Charitra at charitra.iyer@gmail.com.
